Hurricane Jimena Path

The Hurricane Jimena Path includes Baja California ,Puerto San Andresito and the resort town of Cabo San Lucas. Hurricane Jimena is a fierce hurricane and is predicted to hit Baja California by Tuesday evening.

Hurricane Jimena was very close to becoming a Category 5 storm which is the strongest category for hurricanes. Everyone in the cities that are on the Hurricane Jimena Path are stocking up on supplies and getting ready. There are also several shelters setup around the towns as well.

Oak Glen Fire

UPDATE! The Oak Glen Fire began on Sunday at 1:45 pm around Potato Canyon Road and Oak Glen Road and now this area is being evacuated.

There is an evacuation center at Yucaipa Community Center. Anyone needing help with animals can call San Bernardino Animal Control at 800-472-5609. Fire fighters are putting all their effort into keeping this fire under control but it is wise to stay away from this area.

Tropical Storm Danny 2009

Tropical Storm Danny has formed on the Atlantic Ocean and is moving North along the east coast of the U.S.

Tropical Storm Danny has maximum winds of 45mph which is not strong enough to make it a hurricane yet. The storm is predicted to be along the coast of New York and Connecticut on Saturday.
