India Sri Lanka Cricket Live Streaming

Today is the 2nd Match for India and Sri lanka. This is just a formality game as both the teams are already in the Compaq cup final. This is the 3rd match of the tri-series between India vs Sri lanka. Match will be start around 2.30pm India and Sri lankan Timing (09:00 GMT).

Ernie Harwell Diagnosed with Cancer

Ernie Harwell, Hall of Fame broadcaster, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Ernie Harwell, now 91 years old, is known for being the voice for the Tigers for several decades until he retired in 2002. He has been diagnosed with an incurable cancer, a tumor near his bile duct.

Ernie Harwell said about the news:

“We don’t know how long this lasts. It could be a year. It could be much less than a year, much less than a half a year. Who knows? Whatever’s in store, I’m ready for a new adventure. That’s the way I look at it.”

Boise State Punch VIDEO

LeGarrette Blount, Oregon senior tailback, apologized for punching a Boise State football player at Bronco Stadium and said he is willing to accept punishment for his acts.

Blount said about the punch:

“I just apologize to everyone that was watching this. I just apologize to all of our fans, all of Boise’s fans. I lost my head. … A few guys wished me a good game, a few guys pushed me and I just kind of lost my temper.”

Billy Gillispie Arrested for DUI

Basketball coach Billy Gillispie Arrested for DUI in Kentucky.

Police pulled over Gillispie who was driving a 2009 Mercedes “erratically” he was arrested and charged for driving intoxicated but released from jail this morning.

Michael Beasley

Michael Beasley of the Miami Heat’s has checked himself into rehab in Houston according to Yahoo! Sports.

Sources say that the Miami Heat’s encouraged Michael Beasley to go into rehab for substance abuse and psychological problems. It is rumored that coach John Lucas will be meeting up with Beasley since Lucas is known to help out troubled players.

Tim Donovan, spokesman for Miami Heat, and NBA spokesman all declined to comment.
