Linda McMahon for Senate

CEO of the WWE Linda McMahon has resigned to run for Senate in Connecticut.

The World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. confirms that Vince McMahon’s wife has resigned from her position as CEO of WWE in search of getting nominated by Republicans to be in the U.S. Senate in 2010.

With Linda McMahon gone her husband Vince McMahon will take over as CEO.

Yale Student Death

Another update on the death of the Yale Student, Annie Le, who as found dead.

According to medical examiners Annie Le died of a traumatic asphyxiation. Her body was found hidden in a basement wall of a Yale medical school building.

So far police had detained Raymond Clark III who is a Yale lab technician and said that he is a “person of interest” in this case. No charges have been filed yet. We will keep you updated on the case of the Yale student death.

India Sri Lanka Cricket Live Streaming

Today is the 2nd Match for India and Sri lanka. This is just a formality game as both the teams are already in the Compaq cup final. This is the 3rd match of the tri-series between India vs Sri lanka. Match will be start around 2.30pm India and Sri lankan Timing (09:00 GMT).

Many today will have a 9/11 Moment of Silence in remembrance of the tragic events that occurred on this day and for the victims.

When The Planes Hit:
South Tower (2 WTC): 9:03 am
North Tower (1 WTC): 8:46 am

When The Towers Fell:
South Tower (2 WTC): 9:59 am
North Tower (1 WTC): 10:28 am

President Obama and the First Lady also held a moment of silence at the White House today.
